Business Strategy Specialist

Coaching business owners to develop the skills they need to create a sustainable business.

Only 15% of all small business startups survive. I beat these odds 4 times throughout my entrepreneurial career. My goal is to empower business owners by sharing my unqiue blend of knowledge developed from my diverse group of successful businesses and as a former management consultant.

Let me share with you the things I wish I knew before I started my first business.

Why You Should Listen To Me . . .

My name is Darlene Ziebell. During my career I’ve climbed to the top of business success four times. Each time I learned more and more techniques and methods to make the climb faster and safer.

However, these business triumphs did not come without many challenges. My goal is to help you achieve the same business success I have by avoiding the mistakes I made.  I can guide you every step of the way. From start-ups to turnarounds, businesses all face the same struggles.  Many high-profile business owners just don’t want to talk about the mistakes they made.  I feel, you can learn from them to help you succeed.

I began my career with a successful retail business. I purchased a failing gift shop and increased sales by 900% in my first year. Although this sounds great, it didn’t come easy. I made many mistakes along the way.

I continued my entrepreneurial career in technology and management consulting.  My company’s client base grew to include many Fortune 1000 companies.  In one of them I increased sales from zero to over 7 figures in less than 24 months.

Through these endeavors I am grateful for all the experiences I gained. Many times I’m asked for help in starting a new business or turning around a failing company.   Today my plan is to help you.

Ascending to the top of business success is like climbing to the top of Mt. Everest.  Every step of the way should be outlined, planned for and tested to make the journey easier and safer.  Many mountain climbers don’t climb a challenging 27,000 foot peak without hiring a guide who’s done it before.

I’ve been through many challenges I call avalanches.  I combine these business struggles into twelve categories.  As your business guide, I’ll prepare you to successfully overcome these avalanches as you face them on your trek to the top.  And you will face them.  Every business owner does.

These challenges include how to get and maintain customers, banking relationships, vendor issues, partnership struggles, legal and financial challenges and exit strategies.  Yes, a successful business owner has a plan on how to exit a business.

Why face your business climb alone when you can follow a guide who’s been there before? Allow me to hold your hand and show you the path to business success.

How Do I Know If I Need a Business Coach?

What is Business Strategy Specialist?

Business coaching is the process where an experienced advisor helps entrepreneurs achieve their business goals. Use a business coach to help you with strategies and techniques to create a successful business. Using the advice of an experienced consultant may help you increase revenue and steady business profits. Learn specific marketing and business skills and boost clarity about your business vision. With me, you get both.

How Do I Know if Business Coaching Is Right for Me?
If you are an entrepreneur struggling to reach your financial goals, facing partnership challenges, seeking effective marketing plans, experiencing employee issues, or not sure what your business legacy is, perhaps you should consider an experienced business advisor to point out potential landmines and walk you through potential solutions.

Learn how to create a plan that includes strategies for future potential business issues. Failing to plan is planning for failure.
Do You Offer Ongoing Consulting Services?

What is the difference between a coach and a consultant?

A business coach works with you to develop the skills you already have.  They bring out the best in you.  A business consultant is an expert you turn to for help with your business.  They teach you skills you don’t know.  They are well versed in business strategy which they use to help you gauge the direction and scalability of your business. They analyze the goals you have for your business and help you create a plan of action required to actually accomplish those goals! With me, you get both services.
